All your favorite things about the famous PSL but in breakfast bowl form! A kiss of warm pumpkin spices, notes of dark coffee and the smooth creamy texture of Icelandic Provision’slow-fat skyr make this highly delectable! Top with some low fat whipped cream, a touch of cinnamon for the perfect fall breakfast!
Ingredients
1 Tablespoon
Milk of your choice
1 Teaspoon
Instant espresso powder
2 Tablespoon
Pumpkin puree
1 Tablespoon
Maple syrup
1 Teaspoon
Molasses, optional
1 Teaspoon
Pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of salt
1 Cup
Icelandic Provisions Low-Fat Plain Skyr
Whipped cream topping, optional
Recipe
Step 1
1. Add the milk and instant espresso powder coffee into a bowl and whisk until the instant coffee is dissolved.
Step 2
2. In a stove safe pan, add pumpkin puree, maple syrup, molasses, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well and cook on stove top for a few minutes until the mixture becomes a thicker drier consistency.
Step 3
Once thicker, let it cool down and then mix into the skyr.
Step 4
4. Top with low-fat whipped cream, a drizzle of maple syrup, a sprinkle of cinnamon/nutmeg and enjoy!
